Paradise Lakes Golf Cart Parades

Welcome to "the official site" of Paradise Lakes Golf Cart Parades! Here you can find out when the next golf cart parade is and see pictures from the last golf cart parades. Paradise Lakes has been doing golf cart parades for at least 15 years, headed by Barbara Hale. In October of 2021, Barbara "retired" and turned the parades over to Doug and Traci, who saw the parades as an opportunity to create a fun activity that would help rebuild the sense of community that was fractured during covid. Instead of 4 golf cart parades a year, they began hosting monthly parades in addition to the holiday potlucks they had already been doing. Now the parades are well attended, often seeing as many as 40+ golf carts at each event. Parades are open to everyone on PL property: residents, short term and long term renters, and resort guests. There are many ways to participate. You can watch, you can provide a beverage or snack for the participants, or you can be in the parade and enjoy a nice drive around the community with your neighbors. Decorating your golf cart is not required...just bring a fun attitude and a smile to greet your old and new friends.
